The Singapore Chinese Orchestra Company Limited would like to invite applications for the following positions:
USHER IC
Position Summary
The SCO Usher IC plays a vital role to provide an enjoyable audience experience at the Singapore Conference Hall. The Usher IC works with Usher teams for crowd control, smooth entry into Concert Hall before concerts, crowd movements inside Concert Hall during performances and intervals and orderly audience exit after concerts.
Responsibilities
- Work with Event IC, Stage Manager and Usher Team
- Upholds House Rules and safety policies
- Cultivate audience relationships through good customer service
- Oversees smooth audience flows before, during and after concert
Requirements
- Fluent in spoken English. Proficiency in a second language is advantageous
- Able to stand for 2 to 3 hours and climb stairs
- Commit to minimum of 6 events per year
- Comfortable with strobe lighting and loud music
- Pleasant personality, service oriented with a positive, friendly attitude
Salary
S$15 per hour (min. 4-hour pay per job)
Training
Training will be provided to successful candidates prior to employment

USHER
Position Summary
The SCO Usher plays a crucial part in providing directions and crowd control for audiences at the SCH (Singapore Conference Hall). You will be working closely with the Usher IC for positive audience experiences at the SCH.
Responsibilities
- Work with Usher IC
- Upholds House Rules and safety policies
- Cultivate audience relationships through good customer service
- Facilitate smooth audience movements before, during and after concert
Requirements
- Fluent in spoken English. Proficiency in a second language is advantageous
- Able to commit to a minimum of 4 events per year
- Able to stand for 2 to3 hours and climb stairs
- Comfortable with strobe lighting and loud volume
Pleasant personality, service oriented with a positive, friendly attitude
Salary
S$12 per hour (min. 4-hour pay per job)
Training
Training will be provided to successful candidates prior to employment
