    Towards the Light

    Curated by SCO Associate Conductor Moses Gay, this concert is inspired by Liu Changyuan’s Light, which will debut in Singapore at this concert. SCO Erhu II Principal Zhu Lin and SCO Dizi musician Lim Sin Yeo will be performing the diyin erhu piece Fantasia of the Western Regions and the dizi piece Cascades. The concert will also feature Wang Yunfei’s The Big Tide, Nanyang-style Garden Veils among other exciting works.

    Rating / Age Limit

    • No admission for infants in arms and children below 6 years old, even with a ticket.*
    • Children 6 years and above must purchase a ticket for entry. No admission without a valid ticket.
    • Please bring along proof of child’s age, such as a student concession pass, as random checks may be conducted at the venue.
    • We reserve the right to ask parents to bring children out of the hall should they be disruptive during the performance.

    *Except Young Children Concert: children under 6 years old will be allowed admission to this concert. Ticket required for all ages, with the exception of infant in arms.


    Late Seating Advisory

    • Please be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.
    • There will be no admission into the venue once the performance has commenced.
    • Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the show or during intermission, if any.

    • Non-flash photography is allowed. Please disable camera flash before taking photos.
    • No unauthorised flash photography, video recording or audio recording.
